HURON’S VIRTUAL CONVOCATION 2020 CELEBRATION

Congratulations! Convocation is the culmination of all you’ve achieved during your time at Huron. Convocation involves a number of events, culminating in receiving your degree from Western University. Because you attend an affiliate University, you’ll get to enjoy two separate celebrations – one with just your Huron family and one across the way at Western’s Alumni Hall.

We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones for a day full of special events and activities. We’re proud of all our graduands, and Convocation is sure to be an amazing day. Please be sure to understand exactly what you need to do to prepare for the day, RSVP in a timely manner and get ready to take your first steps toward becoming one of our esteemed alumni.

Fall Convocation (Postponed)

A decision has been made to postpone this year’s in-person fall convocation celebration as part of our university’s larger response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please know that we are currently planning unique ways to celebrate your achievements virtually in October, similar to how we virtually celebrated the spring Class of 2020. Also, know that this celebration does not replace an in-person event and once circumstances allow it we look forward to seeing you again to celebrate the Class of 2020.

For those planning to graduate this fall, your degrees will still be conferred in October, the exact date to be determined, and your graduation “awarded” status will be reflected on your official transcript.
