HAVE YOU FILLED OUT YOUR PROFILE BUILDER FOR SEPTEMBER 2020?

Are you an incoming student? Have you completed your Profile Builder Form? Submitting this form will provide us with specific criteria, as identified by you, in order to place you into an Identity Circle with a small group of your peers (approximately 55 per circle). This will become your OWeek group as well as your Virtual Residence for the rest of the year. Be sure to check your UWO account with further details and a link to the form. If you did not receive an email, or cannot find it, please email huronrez@huron.uwo.ca to receive the form. Please continue to check your UWO email for more information and details about OWeek and upcoming activities and events.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Huron has delayed the opening of residence for September 2020 to January 2021. Huron will be evaluating the situation on an ongoing basis and will continue to be in touch with students. If you have questions, please contact huronrez@huron.uwo.ca.

You are about to embark on a big adventure at Huron – where you’ll live, study and develop lifelong relationships. Huron is excited to welcome you to our unique community, and we look forward to taking great care of all of future and current Leaders with Heart.

The Registrar’s Office, Student Support Services, Housing and Student Life are located in the West Wing of Huron on the main floor, directly below the Kingsmill Room.  Stop by when you need some help or have questions — we want to make sure your university experience is the best it can be.

Meal Plan

Students in Residence: All students living in residence must participate in the food plan. Students dine in the Huron Dining Hall, located on Huron’s campus just a short walk from the residences. The meal plan is based on an “all you care to eat” system. The set price covers all meals, every day, for the entire academic year.

Flex dollars are included in your meal plan purchase and can be topped up at any time. There are Huron and Western flex dollars. Huron flex dollars can be used to purchase at the Retail Kiosk or any of the vending machines located throughout Huron’s Campus. Western flex dollars can be used at any food service location at Western. Western flex dollars can be topped up at Western.

Non-Resident Students: Non-Resident Students have a few options open to them. You can purchase the full year meal plan or one of the bulk meal plan purchase options or just pay as you go (our Guest Access). Any option purchased will allow you to access the Dining Hall for an All You Care to Eat experience.

Retail Kiosk: There will be a retail kiosk at the entrance to the Dining Hall where students can pick up sandwiches, drinks and other ‘Grab and Go’ options. These can be paid for with debit, credit, cash or Huron flex dollars.

Explore London

London has a big city vibe – with the affordability and tight-knit feel you won’t find from our neighbour, Toronto. Our city is home to nearly 400,000 people, including an excess of 50,000 university-aged students. The city is diverse and it’s welcoming. Our community members appreciate the significant value our students contribute to our culture and economy, so they will be happy to have you visit them at their establishments – and work in their industries.

Learn why London is the place for you and what our locals get up to – after they’re done studying (of course)!
