BA, French and Psychology

Julia Smith BA’18
I decided to study French because I wanted something that would set me apart from others when I graduated.

My professors were always constructive, and they pushed me to expand my knowledge of not only the language but of Francophone culture and current events. The class sizes are very small, so you get to become a very close-knit group. Being able to knock on my professors’ door and having them know exactly who I am and how I was doing in their class was something you don’t realize makes such a huge difference until you get to experience it. When you know your professors care, you want to work hard and make them proud.
