Legal Counsel for the Department of Justice
Beth’s time at Huron helped cultivate skills that set her apart in Law School and continue to support her success at the Department of Justice. “People recognize my ability as a litigator because I am a strong public speaker,” Beth shares. “But more than that I can think on my feet and discern what is most important – even within dense, difficult material – and all this enables me to make meaningful contributions in the courtroom.”
Theology might not seem like the most direct route to a legal career, but Huron’s “brilliant minds” and unique learning environments show students how to be more ethical professionals – something, Beth argues, is absolutely essential for lawyers.
